Pantone Color of the Year: Peach Fuzz

Stylist, Celine Griscom. Photo, Tom Medvedich, AD, Brittany Bashara. Shot for Mario Badescu

This year, as we do every year, we changed our logo border to the current Pantone color of the year. As stylists, we always have our eyes on the trends. We have to be aware of what is hot, but also we are often ahead of the curve. The goal is to innovate and help to create the aesthetics that everyone will desire. A big shout out must go to our art directors who give us the vision we need to bring forth new creative solutions.

Peach has a softness and subtlety that adds a toned down warmth to any look. It is delicate and natural which is a sophisticated next step from millennial pink. We are seeing a lot of muted tones and analogue textures in photography these days, giving a gentle hazy vibe. Perhaps we are all just looking for visual calm and a love of natural flaws that will have us all feeling more comfortable in our own skin this year.

Here are some peachy images we have found in our archives for inspiration for the year ahead!
